Viviana Heineken
Founder and Head Trainer
"Growing up, I always loved all animals, but dogs especially. I watched documentaries and read books about dogs, training, and husbandry. I especially loved dog shows, and always dreamed of competing in one.
In high school, I completed veterinary assistant courses and became certified, launching a 10 year career in veterinary medicine. I had the privilege of working alongside extraordinary doctors in a variety of specialty practices, including exotics, marine animals, cardiology, emergency, and internal medicine.
I studied zoology and marine sciences in college, taking select courses in animal behavior and psychology. I've attended training and husbandry seminars for continuing education in marine mammals and dogs. Over the years, I have worked alongside professionals in performance and show dogs, and service dogs.
The knowledge and experience I've gained has provided me with the building blocks to create my own successful training program, that focuses on nurturing the human-animal bond."
